Boring

Never. I have to say that in this house it is never boring.

Shane just got a kitten, well she isn't a kitten per-say but all cats are still a kitten at heart. Well he needed a bunch of mesh for a hole so she wouldn't get in and get behind the hot water heater. Needless to say he has a LOT extra, even now. The right think would be to save it right?

Nah. It was used to cover Calvin's door. He opened the door to face his mesh prison! Then when he knocked it down, only to trap him in the bathroom after he went in.

Never. Never boring here.

Record Keeping

Well, my attempts to get a better system to record my migraines and stuff related to it is still up in the air. Writing it in journal form isn't working fir me, and finding an app on the phone isn't working for the doctors. Gotta find a solution here.

Dr. H is an Ass

There is a doctor at the clinic I go to to get shots for my migraines that is an ass. And I don't mean a funny "oh that's okay, you're just doing your job" type ass, I mean a real dick head type ass that makes my life harder ass.

Dr. H we shall call him, for privacy sake, believes that I suffer from mild headaches and don't deserve the shots. All this because I don't act like I have a migraine. Not in those words mind you, he said them in ass words, pompous snotty arrogant ass words and sentences, talking to me like an idiot child trying to score some drugs just to get high and not to stop pain from making me blind and from emptying my stomach on his shoes. I wish I did that, the emptying stomach on shoes thing.

Now, because of Dr. H, my primary doctor says I can only get these shots for my migraines, that I normally could get once every two weeks as needed, now only once a month because he too believes I don't have bad enough migraines.

What?! He's known me for 10 years and knows how I don't portray my pain like his other patients. That's how I was raised, you don't make too much of a fuss and are well behaved in public. He has cut back on my pain pills, now my pain shots. My days of laying in bed crying have increased. I'm trying my best to make due, but all thanks to ass Dr. H my life has been made a little bit harder than it needs to be.

Learning to "just deal with it" is getting old and I'm finding it just so much harder to keep fighting the good fight.

So thank you ass Dr. H. You're an ass.

Feed Me

I have come to the conclusion that everyone has this need to feed me. Granted I've come to this conclusion years ago, just reminded of this last night when our friends bought us dinner... and our friend/roommate also bought us dinner as a surprise on his way home. Plus my mom is always trying to get my honey and myself to stay over for dinner. When my "adopted father" Liam lived in L-town he would give me food from his restaurant all the time, like everyday!

Yesterday the girls had so much fun with our friends Chris and Shay. We were playing in the pool and they LOVED that Chris can pick them up and THROW them up and far. Those two can really play ruff with them. It was so much fun to watch. I loved playing with them too. I just hate being out in the sun. Hate it. I got a tan. I hate that. Hate. I need to think of a way to get swimming exercise but not get a tan, suggestions?

Internet Junkyard #19

 GPS

A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew had their car broken into while they were at a football game. Their car was parked on the green which was adjacent to the football stadium and specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.

When the victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen. The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house. They then used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how much time they had to clean out the house. It would appear that they  had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.

Something to consider if you have a GPS - don't put your home address in it.. Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know where you live if your GPS were stolen.

           MOBILE PHONES

           I never thought of this.......

This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet... Etc...was stolen.

20 minutes later when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, hubby says 'I received your text asking about our Pin number and I've replied a little while ago.' When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text 'hubby' in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account .

           Moral of the lesson:

Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list.

Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc....

And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back

Also, when you're being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to  meet 'family and friends' who text you..

A Month Late

I swear I live! I just haven't had the nerve to write. That and there hasn't been anything to write about. I have been dealing with migraines and books. I've been in reading mode. Reread the Twilight series. :) That made me happy. Sadly I had to deal with my head and desire to read. Finally read my "The Clockwork Angel" and the second book is on it's way!!! So excited!!!

No news on the creative front! Sorry!  I wish I had better news!!! 2012 is just not the year for knitting I think. I burned it out with my 100 crafts in a year. T_T so sad.

This was posted recently and I had to share it! Isn't it great? So true, so true.

Resurrecting Knitting

There are three steps then the deck, so is that actually four steps? Or is it still three steps up to the door? 1-2-3-and then the deck to the door. Is it four steps or three? Ah! So confusing!

In other news, I'm alive. Not dead, not missing, alive and still kicking. My head might be telling me otherwise but I'm still here. The botox maybe helping with the tension migraines but I'm still getting other migraines, had to go in for shots on Thursday. Icky.

Enough depressing shit. On to happy cute things- BABIES! Everyone it seems is having babies! First they were all getting married, now they are having babies. Most of them are so adorable I want to punch them in the face. Not really, but you know the feeling when you get that feeling that you just want to squeeze something when you see something so adorable you just... Ugh! I can't explain it without hand motions.

Anyways, it should be kicking-in my creative juices for knitting. I knitted that one pair of oversized baby booties and that's it. Run dry. No more. Nada. Zip. Done. I've tried and ripped out several different things. It's just not in me. What the hell is going on. Is it the migraines? Is it the lack of females telling me "Awww, that's so cuuuute, you should totally make that for that itty-bitty lil' baby" complete with baby talk and giggles? *sigh* Should I throw in the towel?

Whatever the case may be, I have to figure out what to do to get me back into knitting, I love it too much to let it go.

Root Beer

While I'm waiting for the stroke of genius to fall upon me, I decided to have a root beer soda. A root beer float would be even better now that I think about it. Getting back to the point. I needed something different, from my usual ginger ale, to give me some sort of inspiration.

I am running out of ideas to keep me busy and to keep me sane.

We are running into such financial issues and stress that my migraines are triggering. What can we do? I can't work because of the stress on my head and my back. And going to school is just too much. Disability is not getting back to us on the progress. I'm so confused and lightheaded, in desperate need of a haircut... inspiration, where are you? Give me something to focus on, something to accomplish.

The baby stuff is just annoying me because I can't find socks that are baby small, not child small. You'd think it wouldn't be this hard. Ugh!

Okay, I'm off for a nap. Root beer didn't do it for me. Wish you guys better luck!

A Diffrence

Surprisingly the botox has helped. Or so I feel it has. Enough to make a difference. I have still gotten a couple of migraines since the injections but it would seem they are helping.

Enough about silly migraines and headaches (yes there is a difference). I have decided to come clean about something... *deep breath* I'm addicted to pretty much anything that Felicia Day dose. I'm constantly on her youtube channel, fan of hers on the tv shows, and yah, well... I"m a fan girl. Whew, glad to get that off my chest. Oh, here's a link to her wikipedia site.

Since my baby bootys seem to be far too big for new borns, I need to find different patterns or a whole new project for li'l bitty babies... mine seem to be super sized infants. I know we have a problem with obese children, but seriously, I need a pattern for smaller feet here. I guess I'm doomed for another project that probably will be for hefty babies too. Ugh!

Over all, feeling a difference with the botox (I think anyways), and looking for a difference with the whole knitting baby small things.
