I Love To Knit!

I truly enjoy knitting. Right now I'm working on baby booties! Found this amazingly soft yellow yarn amongst my stash. Since it's for a boy, and I have no blue, I thought yellow would be nice. I'm making it the size for a 12-18 months old but I swear I could probably put my feet in... it's... hopefully going to change once it gets sewn together.

Still can't knit for very long, but I've made a lot of progress in just about... *thinking* 10-ish hours. Which is pretty good considering my hands shake and I'm using US 2 needles! LOL  It would be funny watching to those who are knitters. I"m about to get a ton of DVDs from the library so that will help the time go by. So exciting now that I have a goal. Two pairs of booties. One boy pair for Marrissa, and a girl pair for Bri. My friend Sarah still hasn't told me if she wanted a pair or not so I'm deciding if I should make her them or not...

As we Silver Surfers know, sometimes we have trouble with our computers. I had a problem yesterday, so I called Eric, the 11 year old next door, whose bedroom looks like Mission Control, and asked him to come over.
Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.
As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong ?  He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.'
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired,
'An, ID ten T error ? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'
Eric grinned....

'No,' I replied.

Finally

Finally finished a project! It's a mini blanket (2 by 1 1/2 hands) for my niece to help her grow out of her blankey. It's not much, but it's finally something.

So I'm no longer in school. I haven't decided if it's a good or bad thing yet. *sigh* if you wish to hear the whole story let me know, but it's a bit complicated for typing.

Our roommate K left us for a better opportunity and taking his room is S. Our new roommate is pretty awesome. We've known him for a long time. It's nice to finally have someone else who appreciates tea. :)

All For Now

Turns out I might not be a student this quarter after all. It will all be decided all tomorrow. Part of me wishes it is true, that I'm not going back, but part of me wishes to go back. Such mixed feelings about it.

Con was amazing, and fast. It was fun though, I had to take a lot of pain pills (not as many as you think!) but still had fun doing my part. I don't do much for con when I'm just an attendee so it works out.

Con's blood drive was awesome! The amazing people there that donated their time and those that donated their blood were truly brilliant!!! The Dark Horse company donated DVDs and Mangas to us for all those that donate! It was great!

Make-A-Wish did fabulous this year as well. Truly awesome.

Friday Con

Waaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! Who would have guessed that being Assistant Public Relations Manager would require so much walking. It's cool though, it's all pretty much all flat. Next year I'm going to need better shoes... and business cards.

Knowing my other half, N, is only in the hotel room and not attending con makes me really upset. I do wish he'd volunteer, but I can't make him do something he doesn't want to do.

Well, break over and battery still not charged all the way. :(

Knit!!!

I've been knitting!!! But I fail at it. Somehow I am so slow at it that it's embarrassing!

Sakura-con is coming up and I'm so nervous! I feel like I should be doing so much more. No idea how to, or what to, but I feel like I should be doing something.

It's really odd. I start school on the 2nd (monday) then leave on the 5th (thursday) and get back on the following monday. Miss so much school. Ahhh.

My friend Kanako is amazing embroider, and I was hopping to try my hand at it. So exciting! My mom has this pattern that I've always wanted to finish for her, most of it needs to be finished. Now, tonight, me being impatient as I am, I tried it out today. I did some of it rather well! Then my hands started shaking like they "normally" seem to do now.

This isn't going to work.

Sadly Behind

Crafty crafty crafty. Oh how I love to look, but I do not touch. I would be such a good kid in a candy store. T_T  Can't wait till summer so I can get some projects done!!! To even get time to do some projects, I'm still not done with two christmas gifts. CHRISTMAS gifts... how sad is that? I haven't even sent off my dad's socks! I'm terrible. Also, I have a lot of baby bootys to make.

Migraine report is still getting worse, one every two or three days. Won't know if it's purely stress until summer when I can compare notes without the school.

Neil's birthday was yesterday! He's 30!!! That means I'm getting older too! T_T
